Chris Reject manages to express his fear and anguish through surprisingly
undistorted voice. His pain is real and heartfelt and blends perfectly
with the powerful tracks that give him the dramatic backdrop for his
performance. This alone makes "If I don't wake up" a standout album. But
they offer so much more. This is a deeply emotional album with a powerful
message of loss and suffering. Life Cried is carving out their own path
into the future - they deploy every weapon in their arsenal of musical
